This map highlights the fires that were in my area. I was listening to the Fire Authority through the emergency tactical radio frequency that was streaming on a website.
Here are some pictures I took on Monday (10/22/07). The map indicates the view point that I was at (less than a mile from where I live) where I took these. Later that night, the fire was right up to that road (Glenn Ranch Rd.). These pictures are looking due north from my position. The housing to the lower left of the images is Foothill Ranch.
